This AI voice agent project for after-hours calls was implemented for Naturgy marketing campaigns to manage commercial leads during periods when the human team is not available, especially nights and weekends.
The initiative addresses a critical business need: preserving immediate contact with the lead. Client data showed a direct correlation between response speed, the lead’s “temperature,” and final conversion rate. By acting on contacts that arrive outside standard hours, the system prevents interest from fading and captures opportunities at the moment of highest purchase intent.
Operationally, the solution uses Meetzy, an AI voice agent platform designed to automate phone calls for service, follow-up, and campaign workflows, integrating with CRM and telephony systems to fit the client’s commercial operations.
The virtual agent flow starts by validating connection quality and obtaining legal consent for data processing. It then moves into an intelligent discovery phase that captures intent, personal details, product interest, and urgency level. The system automatically filters users who are already customers or belong to the regulated market, and generates an enriched case record plus a conversation summary so human agents can resume the process with context and priority at the start of their shift.
The system’s effectiveness is based on a weighted scoring model that evaluates metadata such as preferred contact time slot and technical supply data to classify each lead as low, medium, or high qualified. Thanks to this pre-qualification, sales agents can focus on the highest-value opportunities, capturing up to 27% more leads that were previously lost due to lack of immediate response, with an average projected 8x return on investment.
